Who We Are

Who are We?... We are You.

The volunteers of VoteZip.org bear a strong resemblance to whatever reflection you see in the mirror. Many of us have full-time jobs. Some of us have children. Some of us are attending college or graduate school. Some of us are retired. Some of us are women; some are men. Some of us are veterans. Some of us are school teachers. Some of us are devoutly religious. Some of us belong to a labor union. Some of us own guns. Some of us enjoy baseball or football....

All of us share a passion for encouraging participation in the United States electoral process.

VoteZip.org is a grassroots endeavor. The success of our online voter registration drive depends entirely upon the participation and enthusiasm of people like you, who freely offer their time. The more involved our volunteers are, the more new voters we will register. We strongly encourage our volunteers to be proactive about spreading the word within their communities, such as by telling their friends and family about VoteZip.org, or posting VoteZip.org flyers in community centers, town halls, libraries, grocery stores, high schools and colleges, etc.

VoteZip.org does not officially endorse any candidate or political party, and we advocate no special interests or ideologies other than our firm conviction that every eligible U.S. citizen should be registered to vote. We accept volunteers who are associated with any political party, or independent. We will assist any legally eligible U.S. citizen with his or her voter registration, regardless of political ideology or intended party affiliation.

VoteZip.org is planning to attain 501(c)(4) status as a political non-profit organization.
